I count myself as truly lucky : most of my autistic issues I have workarounds and coping strategies for, and I have special interests that happen to align with a great career that I really enjoy. I am able to mask and work (remotely) and I even have a bit of leftover energy to support others in my organisation, and to do a bit of ASC awareness training. We need more, not less, autistic coaches, therapists, specialists, advocates and supporters. As long as you promote awareness and understanding, you're on 'my team' and I will support your right to feed yourself and your family however you can.
