It is because the majority tends to forget that these invisible minorities exist. I recently came across a “bash the vegan” joke that got me thinking about the issue at hand here. I’m paraphrasing, but the joke was: The toughest part of being a vegan is keeping it to yourself. I think there are several…

  • On The Importance Of Teaching Neurodivergence

In my view, it would allow us to handle better the friction that occurs when meshing different communication styles. It is unclear whether it would have…

  • No Social Media Icons For Sharing On This Site

I’ve thought about it, but I decided against it. Maybe I’m acting against my own best interests here… but it seems to me rather frivolous to add a strip of icons on every page so that users can share the stuff here to some social media platform. If you want to share, you can do…

  • Famotidine Was Making Me Depressed And Caused Fatigue

More reflections on my experience with famotidine. Preamble: I wrote this piece in August 2022, about six days after my previous piece on famotidine. I decided to do minimal edits before publishing it here. In particular, I did not adjust the chronology. I did not know I was autistic at the time. However, I’m now…

  • Shit That Irritates Me In Dating Profiles

How to avoid giving the wrong impression when you write a dating profile. I’m angry. I keep seeing inadequate profiles on Feeld.
